Getting best battery from Apple Watch Series 7 or 8

For past few weeks, I have been using Apple Watch series 7 and have been exploring a lot about its features, tracking abilities, etc. However, while using the device and exploring its unique features, the most annoying thing about using the Apple device is its battery and I had to charge my device every now and then to ensure that it tracks all my activities 24/7, including my sleep. After researching on the topics about extending the battery life on Apple Watch series, I was able to identify the easier and effective ways to extend the battery for the whole day. • Remove Applications and Turn-off unnecessary notifications (Noise, in-built Apps, etc.): The most basic thing that needs to be done after getting the Apple Watch Series is to get rid of unwanted in-built Apple applications and other iPhone applications that are mirrored to the watch automatically. Before removing the Applications from the Apple Watch, ensure that the notifications are turned off for each app and ensure that background app refresh is turned off for the application to be removed. 
• Do not run ECG, Spo2 or other tests frequently: Post removing unwanted applications from the Apple Watch, another important thing to be noted for extending the battery life is that do not run the native ECG and Blood oxygen tracking application frequently. As by default, those applications run on its own based on your skin and body conditions, the numbers are automatically captured in the Health App and running the tests frequently or occasionally every other hour would drain the battery considerably.

Disappointing iPhone 14 launch from Apple in 2022

Apple has recently their flagship product iPhone 14 in September event and this time the iPhone 14 product was completely disappointment. The iPhone 14 Pro was stand-out among the product launches with the screen being redesigned and new “Dynamic Island” was introduced. By launching iPhone 14 at exorbitant price at $799, user can very well incline to iPhone 13 version with same processor and similar design pattern.

Evaluating the options to repair my damaged Ford EcoSport

As I had detailed in my earlier article about a freaking accident in my Ford EcoSport and with considerable damage to the car’s right side, I had to figure out the options to repair it. After the incident, I immediately captured the pictures of the damage and tried capture the extent of the damage to the side wall of the car. With the images, I had few options left to repair my car and following are my perceptions about it

• Ford’s OEM accidental Repair: My preferred option to repair my car’s damage was with Ford’s service center and the concern I had was the cost & time to repair. Usually, the other car manufacturers charge hefty amount for the accidental repairs with chunk of service charges and may often have large waiting time for returning the car. • Third party repairs: My perception about the third-party repairs for Car’s accidental damage was the fit & finish and quality of the paint that will be used during the repairs. Most of the times, the finish will not factory perfect and as it ages, the paint quality would fade out making it odd in long term. How I use AirPods Pro in my daily life

I have a habit of listening to some kind of audio for a long time, during my office working hours or while being leisure. With apple new software update about to be announced in few days, I would also want to jump into the bandwagon of specialists predicting upcoming features and enhancements. I have long been using Apple products and most probably my predictions have come true, it may be due to my luck, or analytical skills or guessing it right. Initiating work for new opportunity with stupid manager

After logging back to work after a long vacation and connecting from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, I was hoping that I will not get work for a couple of days due to downtime and could some quality time with my family. Believing that this opportunity would be ending than anticipated and with no work on my table, I had no other option but to accept the work. The initial description I got from my manager was to collate a few slides on listed topics with a clearly defined storyline and the customizations can be done further with inputs from the delivery team. Again, all his inputs were directed to the trash, and without knowing this communication from the onsite team, I had put in my effort to collate slides that he had requested and created a storyline with my thought process. Pulled back into old request after vacation

After coming back from my long vacation I felt rejuvenated to work on a new service request as I was not bothered during my vacation days and was completely spending quality time with my family. So, after logging back into the office, I was hoping to get some new work with the new delivery team and prove my ability to complete the service request swiftly without any escalation. However, all my plans ruined within few hours after logging back into the office after a long vacation, I was pulled back into that old service request, which I was working earlier before my vacation and the same old mail thread was reopened again with additional services. I was fuming inside, as I had no other option to transfer this service request to someone else but to support this request. The most annoying part of this service request is that I had to work with the same old people with whom I had issues and had thought conflicts. My manager has conveyed that new work has come and would require a lot of effort for the next 2 weeks and it would be assigned to me. With a record of accomplishment for my manager being completely clueless about the service requests assigned to me, I was completely curious to get further information about the service request and was eagerly waiting for the tasks to begin. The next working day after this conversation with my manager, I called up the delivery person to understand the nature of the work and effort required from me for the next 2 weeks. I was jumping out of joy, my prediction about my manger had worked out once again and I was looking forward to killing time for the next two weeks. However, again the entire plan of me being without work for next week was ruined by my previous work with the most irritating delivery & account teams. During my vacation, my manager got furious that whatever handwork he puts on the slide and changes he makes on the slides are thrown out by the onsite team. Knowing that the offshore delivery lead has personally escalated against me to my manager I was completely irritated by this action and never wanted to work on this opportunity. However, my manager wanted me to continue support on this opportunity and never understanding about the conflicts arising between me and the offshore lead. To detail the extent of the conflicts, during one of those calls, there was a comment from the offshore delivery lead that we need to add a slide about certain topic, and I was requested to find the relevant slides. I was on the way to my home for a long weekend and was very much excited about relaxing with my family. So, till I reached home there was no travel plans made by my family and out of nowhere my mom conveys that they are planning to travel different city, which is about more than 300kms from my native and return on the same day. I was completely taken aback by this sudden plan out of nowhere and I was offered with two options, one option was to stay back in home and give my car to my brother, the final option was to join my family for the long travel and I can drive the car. I chose the second option and planned to join my family for the long drive. Now came another shock that my family was planning to start early in the morning as early as 5 AM and I’m not an early morning person. I was completely frustrated of this sudden plan and was in complete oscillation whether to join them or not. Dropped off short deadline opportunity

Regarding new opportunity which had short turn around time, the decision was transferred to other account team and the deadline was setup at 5 PM on the same day. On mean time our team was in middle of all these things, as we were not sure whether the opportunity had been decided to hold off or it would be decided to be submitted at the last minute. Around noon I was checking with accounts team, whether our team need to work on the solution or we can hold off till we get response from the accountable team. The response was neutral and it was conveyed that they were also not sure about the outcome and its better to go ahead and from the solution. However, I was sure that the opportunity would be dropped off and didn’t even bothered to initiate work on any solutions. The time had tuned 5 PM and still there was no sight of the decision and around 6:30 PM, account team had scheduled leadership connect to decide outcome on this opportunity and I was sure some decision would be taken by then. And to my surprise just few mins away from the scheduled leadership call, the account team had decided not to go ahead with the opportunity and would be dropped with immediate effect. Work struggle on weekend

I was working on weekend to provide support for the new opportunity that I was assigned and to my bad luck my office Skype for business was not working and my status was showing as offline. I tried different methods to make it work and all the efforts went in vain and finally I had even opened ticket in IT support for immediate resolution. Again to my stars, the IT support tried all different options and was finally conveyed that it would not be solved until it is connected to office network and closest possible resolution for this issue would be on Monday. But, if it shows offline till Monday all the effort I am putting in for this opportunity would go in vain and it would also become difficult to raise compensatory off for working on weekends. So, after all research and hard work I was able to find an alternative work-around, it was to open webmail in my personal laptop and from there I was able to login to Skype. I done it once in few hours just to ensure that my manager and colleagues were able to recognize the fact that I was working on weekends. Rising water level and frustration

Now for the entire day I was roaming around in my apartment and for charging I used to turn on my car and charge as much as possible. Now I could sense the panic among all people and I tried to avoid conversation to keep me relaxed. At around evening I found that in my apartment, they were providing backup power to common area and in Gym I could charge my MacBook Pro. By charging MacBook Pro, I was able to charge my other two devices as well through USB ports. During late in the evening I went again for a short walk to check the water levels, hoping if it had receded little bit I could reach my home town. But, the exact opposite thing had happened and water level had raised even more and water was even reaching the parking lot of the apartment. Now this made me even more worrying and went back to my home with no other option left. All the while, my entire companion was my iPod Touch 5th Generation and around 20 TinTin comic books.
